8.5 Presentation
Very impressive. The music, interface design, introduction videos, and overall console quality is a sight to see. Virtually no load times either.
8.5 Graphics
A step above last year’s effort, and the best looking shooter on the system. It rivals PS2 at times, with model work just shy, but overall style pushing the limit.
9.0 Sound
Beautiful. The musical score is inspirational and fresh, there’s VO throughout, and the overall sound production rivals anything else on the system thus far.
8.0 Gameplay
There’s still the inherent need for dual analog in an FPS, but aside from that Heroes adds a great amount of diversity. The campaign is a bit too short though.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
Campaign mode will only last a few hours, but online is where it’s at, with six maps across deathmatch and team deathmatch, and two infiltration levels. No voice support though.
